Horrible death
American USA Today also noticed the almost simultaneous massacre, and make a rundown of all the worst critics.
– The “Queen of Hearts” is portrayed as a sad, lonely soul that even Bridget Jones would want to escape, writes David Edwards in Glass.
Guard critic Peter Bradshaw went further in his review:
– I hesitate to use the term “car crash drama”, but the terrible truth is that 16 years after that terrible day in 1997, he died another terrible death.

Former Oscar nominee
British-Australian Naomi Watts has earned several Oscar nominations, but there are many indications that her next Oscar nomination will have nothing to do with “Diana.” Initially, it was the relatively unknown actress Jessica Chastain who played the main role of the princess, but the 36-year-old American actress withdrew from the project last winter.
Watts turned down the role twice before finally changing his mind, stating in previous interviews that he was afraid the film would upset Diana’s sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
I panicked
In an interview with Telegraph Watts said he studied video images of Diana thousands of times to learn how to move and act like the princess.
– I was panicking until a few days before we started the film. Then I finally felt like it was okay and I was ready for the role.
Unfortunately for the 46-year-old, that opinion is not shared by some British critics.
“Diana” premieres in Norwegian cinemas on October 11.
