But before the ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ star hits the small screen, a powerful Marvel villain who has made Spider-Man’s life miserable will make his live-action production debut.

In theaters, this character will be played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, an actor who is no stranger to the world of superhero films, as in the past he was the protagonist of ‘Kick-Ass’ and recently gave life to Pietro Maximoff, Scarlet’s Big Brother. Witches in the MCU.

Sergei Kravinoff was born in Russia in a noble family. He grew up in St. Petersburg with his half-brother Dmitri Smerdyakov, who would grow up to be The Chameleon, another villain creeping up the walls.

After the Russian revolution, the Kravinoffs were forced to emigrate to England and then to the United States. Shortly after his parents died, Sergei had to learn to survive on his own.

As a teenager, Sergei traveled the world, mostly as a stowaway on cargo ships or trains. In his adventures in Africa, he discovered his natural talent for hunting.

Somewhere on the continent he meets a tribe that is preparing a special drink for the warriors, which he steals and drinks.

Thanks to this formula, Sergei is able to lift weights of up to 2 tons, run short distances at a speed of 60 miles per hour and last long enough without food or water.

All those skills made him a legendary hunter, attracting the attention of the world’s millionaires, who hired him to hunt the fiercest creatures in nature.

Kraven the hunter, as Sergei calls himself, is an expert in close combat, which is why he almost always decides to kill his prey with his bare fist. Even so, it has a whole arsenal of weapons such as whips, axes, nets, gas bombs and other useful traps to defeat any animal on the planet.

In his first encounter with Spider-Man, Sergei was amazed by the wall crawler’s strength and agility. Because he believed that he had finally found a prey that matched his talents, he began to obsess over the hero.

Although Sergei’s relationship with his half-brother Dmitri was never the best, the two teamed up to fight the arachnids, but were defeated and deported to Europe.

After his return and a series of confrontations and defeats against New York heroes, Kraven decides to join forces with other villains and form the Sinister Six, with the goal of defeating Spider-Man once and for all. Fortunately, arachnids are able to overcome all of their enemies.

From then on, Kraven swore in his honor that he would defeat Spider-Man at all costs, a promise that would even involve his descendants, who succeeded him as the villain after his death in one of the Marvel universes.
