Fisker announced its third product, Project Ronin on PortalAutomotriz.com

Fisker Inc. (NYSE: FSR) (“Fisker”), creator of the world’s most sustainable electric vehicle and advanced mobility solutions, has announced Project Ronin, the company’s third vehicle after the Fisker Ocean SUV and Fisker PEAR.

“The goal is to achieve the longest range in the world for EV production, combined with a very high level of performance,” said CEO Henrik Fisker. “Project Ronin will showcase our in-house engineering, powertrain and software capabilities.”

The code name is inspired by the film of the same name, with its famous car chases. Development of the Ronin concept began last year with the aim of creating a futuristic Grand Touring sports car suitable for long trips with four adults and their luggage.

Henrik Fisker’s explanation for the engineering team was to use the most advanced lightweight materials and focus on range, performance and overall driving experience. Project Ronin will feature active aerodynamic technology and an innovative battery design, with the package integrated into the vehicle structure.

The GT will feature unique doors for better entry and exit and a luxurious and sustainable vegan interior that charts new and advanced design directions. Fisker hopes to reveal Project Ronin in August 2023, with production starting in the second half of 2024.
