FreeSports will broadcast the Euroleague in the UK for the 2021-2022 season

The Euroleague is growing. Europe’s top basketball competition has reached an agreement where the sports network is open FreeSports will be in charge of broadcasting Euroleague matches in the UK during the 2021-2022 season.

FreeSports will be responsible for broadcasting one game per week of the competition’s regular season on a non-exclusive basis, apart from all meetings playoffs y The Last Four.

The television network was launched in 2017 to offer free sports broadcasts in the UK. It is available on all major television platforms, including Sky, Freeview, and Virgin TV, as well as online via FreeSports Player.

This way, England fans will be able to watch the Euroleague alongside other FreeSports content, including sports such as football, rugby, cricket, billiards, snooker, ice hockey or motorsports.

“Offering the opportunity to watch a Turkish Airlines Euroleague match for all our British basketball fans for free is an achievement,” said Alex Ferrer, Euroleague Director of Marketing and Communications.

Two weeks ago the Euroleague sold the competition rights in Italy to the Eleven Sports platform for the next four seasons, sharing broadcasts with the Sky channel.
