PP says the Government is left alone due to tax cuts in the Autonomous Community and Calviño asks to see the UK

MADRID, 4 (EUROPEAN PRESS)

PP spokesman in the Senate, Javier Maroto, said Tuesday the Government was left alone after tax cuts were announced in the autonomous communities governed by the PSOE, while Vice President for Economics and Digital Transformation, Nadia Calviño, has asked the ‘popular’ to pay attention to how the UK is doing. should reverse the general reduction in their proposed “follow” tax.

So, Calviño has said that in PP they played a “mistake” not to mention how the UK Executive should improve its tax reforms “because financial markets have collapsed, interest rates have skyrocketed” and all organizations have described as “irresponsible fiscal policy”.

In this regard, the lack of support for new taxes on major energy companies and banks has made the PPs ugly, and has shown that they serve to finance measures such as reduced fuel prices, free commuter trains, tax breaks for lights or hikes. in scholarships, as well as to ensure “strong” public services.

All of this after denouncing Maroto in a control session to the Government in the Senate that the State General Budget did not consider the tax reductions proposed by its establishment, such as a reduction in VAT applied to basic products or extending the announced reduction in Personal Income Tax, more than the planned threshold of 21,000 euros.

The ‘popular’ senator has pointed out that to say that this drop “lightens the burden of the lowest incomes” shows, in his opinion, a lack of empathy, sensitivity and “contact with reality” because, he said, “it leaves all the country’s millionaires behind.”

To that end, he has invited the Government to “copy” the PP proposal, assuming that sooner or later it will end, and follow the path of tax reduction to “avoid embarrassing” PSOE autonomous presidents “that today they have to say or copy the PP proposal or take action. continue” to the central government. “Looks like they will be alone,” he said.
