SHARON Osbourne is joining TalkTV today and will be appearing on a new primetime show while connecting with his friend Piers Morgan.

The 69-year-old TV legend will host The Talk, his new recent affairs panel.

Sharon will be bringing her fearless personality and decades of hosting experience to TalkTV’s new primetime venue.

For an hour each day of the week, it will feature five famous and opinionated faces discussing the big issues of the day.

And viewers can expect a strong host to discuss topics ranging from politics and crime to health and entertainment.

Alongside Piers Morgan Uncensored, Sharon’s dynamic performance will wow audiences with her “open point of view” and “frank and frank debate”.

Announcing today’s exciting news, Sharon said she was ready for a “fun and lively” conversation on her new show, The Talk.

The former X Factor star was thrilled to work with his friend Piers on their respective shows.

Speaking today, Sharon Osbourne said: “I am delighted to be working with News UK, the panel and my good friend Piers.

“Watch this space for some interesting and lively discussions from all of us.”

His daily sixty-minute show will air in the UK on TalkTV later this spring.

The sensational news comes after iconic host Piers announced the name of his prime-time show: Piers Morgan Uncensored.

SHARON’S FIRST TIME EVENT

Sharon’s highly successful career began when she created and produced the reality series The Osbournes.

The legendary host was also adored by fans for seven seasons on The X Factor and another five seasons on America’s Got Talent.

Prior to moving to TalkTV, Sharon co-hosted CBS for 11 seasons, for which she received an Outstanding Entertainment Talk Show Host of the Daytime Emmy in 2017.

Sharon was savagely fired from her job at The Talk in the US simply for defending Piers Morgan’s comments about Meghan Markle on Good Morning Britain.

He said at the time: “I support him for freedom of expression, and he is a friend of mine.”

After the US broadcaster took him down, Piers defended him on Instagram saying, “What happened to @sharonosbourne is an absolute disgrace that CBS is ashamed of. Kicked out of his job for defending me against blasphemous racism because I don’t believe in liars.”

Announcing Sharon’s event today, News UK CEO Rebekah Brooks said: “Sharon has built a unique and highly successful media career, combining strong views and opinions with lots of warmth and fun.

“Her boundless energy will make her show exciting and we’re excited to give her a new home on TalkTV.”

And in addition to the two TV personalities, former Sun political editor Tom Newton Dunn will also host major news and current affairs programming.

Viewers will be able to watch his agenda-setting interviews and political panels every night on TalkTV.

Talks will take place every weekday starting this spring.
