TUI group start add ChatGPT to your mobile app, with the aim of testing the potential of artificial intelligence (AI). What started as a technology experiment by three TUI technical engineers has now culminated with the pilot launch of the first mobile app for the UK.

Depending on the level of detail a customer provides about the type of experience they want, such as a culinary activity, adventure tour, or museum visit, the app will list more detailed and relevant descriptions, images, and links for the suggested experiences.
Bringing ChatGPT to mobile apps is the first step in an initiative to implementing AI functions in all business areas from TUI. The focus is to develop internal skills and capabilities across the organization and to this end, the “TUI AI Lab” has been established to drive the initiative.
Further testing is also underway using generative AI tools, incl communication with clients after the holidaysautomated database analysis to support contact center and content language translation teams, as well as other applications that support the TUI technology team in building and testing code.
The company ensured in a statement that customers who use ChatGPT on mobile applications can rest assured of that “No customer data will be shared at any time.” Additionally, the developer has implemented measures to limit “inappropriate” responses.
