Easter crimes have become an important tradition for many Norwegians. And many who miss Vera Stanhope Easter 2021 has something to look forward to this year

At Easter, there’s something to look forward to, both for those who love classic British crime – and those who prefer modern series.

Here are the crime highlights from NRK this Easter:


Last chapter

Susan Ryeland is the editor of renowned author Alan Conway. He is known for his popular novels about the detective Atticus Pünd, but also for being a difficult man to work with.

Fans were eagerly awaiting Conway’s latest novel, but when Susan went to him to pick up the final chapter, he found that the author was dead.

Susan then began her own investigation. In his work, he discovers that the novel may be based on a true story, and that the content may have caused someone to kill Conway.

Show

A British drama series that explores how prejudice, politics and the media distort the legal process.

Talitha Campbell, daughter of a wealthy real estate developer, is charged with the murder of fellow student Hannah Ellis.

Subsequent hearings put the victims, defendants and their families in a media storm. In this storm comes Cleo Roberts, a former high-flying attorney, who will defend the prime suspect.

Nattdjevelen

In this British crime series, the plot is set in the British capital.

A notorious serial killer has terrorized London for 11 years. Detective Colin Sutton will investigate how the police handled the case. Can the team finally catch the “Night Devil”?

Shetland (Season 5)

The critically acclaimed series based on the books of Ann Cleeves. We follow investigator Jimmy Perez and his colleagues as they solve a criminal case in Shetland.

The series was named the best drama series in the UK.

In season five, Perez is connected to a case where an islander is shot in his own home. Perez left his mother’s funeral to lead the investigation.

Vera (season 11)

Vera and her trusted assistant face a series of captivating murder mysteries in Northumberland.

In this new episode, Vera, among other things, is drawn into a tragic mystery in connection with the trial.

A man was killed at a memorial the day before he testified in court. But was the murder connected to the trial?
