This will be the Duke of Cambridge’s new currency for his 40th birthday – Business & Politics

Coin, designed by Thomas T. Docherty, will represent William through an engraved image next to the number 40 and the letter W. His grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, will be engraved on the other side.

Talking about the coin’s design, Docherty said: “This design balances His Majesty’s cold energy as a young father with the ceremonial nature of his royal position… Using technology, we can now produce designs and sculptures with higher value efficiency than when i started my career 17 years ago It takes a high level of skill and expertise to sculpt a design – the tools are different, but the principle remains the same.’|
