The good business climate offered by Paraguay is a big attraction that encourages other countries to explore investment potential that can occur in various sectors of the local economy. This was the case for Great Britain, which through a special delegation met with representatives from the public and private sector on future projects.
Jonathan Knott, UK trade commissioner for Latin America and the Caribbean, commented that, while there is currently significant trade between the two countries, there are attractive growth opportunities that could benefit both economies.
“We want to identify the most promising sectors and then explain them to UK entrepreneurs so they can consider developing projects in Paraguay. We see opportunities in the green energy sector, technologies in agriculture and health, as well as in infrastructure,” he said in an interview for 5Días Televisión.
