As reported on Thursday by the company’s Regional Communications Department, Fascioli, who will become the first Uruguayan to occupy this important position in Europe, was president of the Latin America division since 2014, and is now climbing the career ladder in the same division, which will be compatible with new tasks.

Fascioli replaces Mark Lund, who has been in charge of Europe since 2020 and has begun his retirement.

The statement said the new heads for Europe and England were an example of promotion and internal promotion as Fascioli began his career at McCann Worldgroup in one of the network’s smaller offices, in Uruguay.

Four years later he was transferred to Peru, where he was appointed CEO of an office he built into the country’s largest and most successful agency.

Following his experience in Peru, Fascioli assumed the position of head of growth for McCann Worldgroup Latin America, then CEO of McCann Chile, and in 2014 he was promoted to president of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Under his leadership, McCann was named Network of the Year at the Effie Latin America Awards and achieved second place in the Crema Rankings in the region.
