World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), ask the government great Britain prioritizing the resumption of urgent international business travel, in line with the reopening of mobility and the easing of domestic travel restrictions starting in early April.

Guevara’s Glory, WTTC President and CEO, said that “We need to capitalize on the huge success of vaccine launches and unlock the myriad of confusing rules and regulations that have put a stop to essential business travel. Now is the time to show that the British government is serious.”

He assured that “The safe resumption of international business travel will result in a much-needed revenue boost for businesses across the country and provide an important economic lifeline for governments and allow the Chancellor to start balancing the books.”

“The UK is the fourth largest economy in the G20 in terms of international travel and tourism spending from business travel, contributing £7.5 billion to UK Plc in 2019, and will be vital in driving the country’s recovery,” Indian said.
