Malaga is once again at the center of the Ultra High Definition world in Television and New Technologies on the occasion of the eighth edition of the 4K HDR Summit, which kicks off on November 14 at the National Pole for Digital Content in Malaga, and contains a wealth of news that will be accessible to everyone.

This event, which has attracted the world’s top engineers and producers of Ultra High Definition (UHD) content since 2015, has Metaverse as its protagonist this year.

From Monday, November 14 to Friday, November 18, every visitor will be able to immerse themselves in the Metaverse thanks to the experience, developed by Lavinia and Univrse, called “Los Sueños” – via the event’s official website (www.4ksummit.com ), at “Visit Metaverse & more” registration section, you can choose the day and time to try the experience -. On the other hand, Nokia will bring all its arsenal referring to the world of the metaverse. The “Volcano”, Owl, “Wanted” and Perkins, a very special four-legged robotic pet. Finally, Optiva Media will also feature virtual reality experiences.

Today this eighth edition has been presented in Malaga and brings many new things. Susana Carillo, member of the delegation board for Urban Innovation and Digitalization of the Malaga City Council, and the organizer of the 4K HDR Summit, Ricardo Medina, presented a program of sessions and experiences. It will be held again in a hybrid format, with two face-to-face days (14 and 15 November) and three virtual days (16, 17 and 18 November), although the “Dream” demonstration will be open to the public every day.

The Junta de Andalucía Presidential Advisor, Antonio Sanz, will utilize the 4KHDR Summit in Malaga to present the Andalusia Audiovisual Hub. It will be held on Tuesday the 15th and will be followed by a meeting of the leading production companies in Spain who are behind the most important regional Hub being established.
