The first day of the Te Quiero Verde Tolima Festival was successfully held which has a broad academic agenda, with more than 700 participants, where various topics related to natural resource conservation through circular economy, clean energy, environmental education and science and technology were discussed, all applied to green business and in general on a sustainable economy, through conferences and forums with expert panelists on this issue.

At this first event, national and international speakers participated, such as Ruy Campos Dugone – Executive Director of Green Cross UK, who spoke on renewable energy, Mauricio Facio Lince, Manager of Circular Economy of the Government of Antioquia, in addition to the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development and the University of Tolima.

Parallel to today, at Manuel Murillo Toro Park, the Green Business exhibition was held where 77 exhibitors presented their products, including specialty coffee, nature tourism, honey-based products, various types of plants, organic fertilizers, solar panels, handicrafts, among others. other.

Meanwhile, Olga Lucía Alfonso Iannini, General Director of Cortolima, stated that “Strengthening Green Business is to publicize all circular economic policies that we have developed since Cortolima”.

On October 5th, the second day of the Festival, the Business Roundtable will be held, with over 550 appointments between potential buyers and Green Businesses, to come up with commercial deals.
