BBC secret script in case of a power outage in the UK

England is facing one of its worst winters. And not because of the political crisis too, but because of the energy crisis that may cause a power outage in British homes and that’s already got the BBC ready for the script before the power goes out.

This Tuesday, the CEO of National Grid, an electricity and gas company, warned of a possible power outage in the aftermath reduction of gas imports from all over Europe. This cut, in the worst case, could be three hours a day “during the very cold days of January and February.” Between 16:00 and 19:00, Monday through Friday, British homes will run out of electricity, a situation that could complicate the mandate of newly appointed Prime Minister Liz Truss, who has been asked to resign.

His reign, despite warnings from experts, has completely ruled out asking the citizens to cut off gas and has vetoed campaigns to promote energy savings which, for example, European Commission countries have been pursuing for several months.

The giant National Grid, however, has asked Britons to consider daily energy consumption and try to save as much as possible. With this, from the energy companies they seek to avoid, as far as possible, cuts in the coming months.

According to data offered by the Executive, nearly 43% of the energy the UK currently consumes comes from natural gas-fired combined cycle power plants, so Putin’s squeeze with fuel supply would be the main cause of this possible blackoutwhich has frightened some of the population.

The UK does not directly import gas from Russia, but imports electricity and gas from other European countries which, in turn, depend on Moscow.

The BBC has a script prepared before the blackout

In the face of a national emergency, the BBC is obligated to distribute announcements or information relevant to that country. “If it appears to a UK Government minister that an emergency has arisen, that minister may request that the BBC transmit or distribute any advertisements or other programmes,” the law states.

That’s why, since ‘The Guardian’ has been able to advance, the English channel already has “secret” script addressed to the audience. With it, he will try to reassure the audience in case of interruptions to other services such as telephone, internet, or even banking systems.

“The government has said that hope to recover power in the next 36-48 hours. Different parts of the UK will start receiving intermittent supplies before then,” the leaked drill said.
