It is important to consider what we want to do and why, especially if there is a vulnerable group we want to help create opportunities for those who might be lacking. Regardless of whether the goal is a small matter, you can make a big impact in your community from just one person, such as repairing potholes, installing street lights, etc.

It is important to detect whether there is an organization, program or technology resource that you can use to carry out your project. You can also identify what has been done before to catch bugs and offer something new that might work, so you know what you need to help. Ophelia and Diego advise that curiosity will enable us to be open to things we previously ignored, or to our “privileges” that did not concern us.

What is a Chevening Scholarship?
