Mike Brown is creative director of power horizon5 and revealed that he was working with a team of veterans from Playground Games to Create a new game studio. Maverick Games Goals specializes in open world Triple A games for PC and consoles. The studio claims to have been working on its first project.

Maverick Games is made up of Playground Games veterans who helped create the Forza universe. Tom Butcher will serve as executive producer, while Greth Hardwood will serve as chief content officer.

The studio will be located at Leamington Spa in the United Kingdom, very close to the Playground Games offices, and claims to have received “significant seed funding.”

“Our ultimate goal is to make Maverick Games a studio that people love.said Brown in an interview. “For gamers, we’re working on engaging, high-quality games, and for developers, we’re building a home where everyone is encouraged to take risks, be curious, be innovative, be themselves, and most importantly, be a Maverick. .” ». Playground Games was founded in 2010, and has been dedicated exclusively to the Forza franchise since then, but that would change after the release of the action-RPG reboot, Fable.
