A bunch hackers Associated with Russia has paralyzed international shipping from the UK postal service Royal Letter.
A spokesman for the National Crime Agency (NCA) indicated that the British intelligence services investigate origins cyber attack influencing computer systems to manage international shipments.
Meanwhile, Royal Mail said it was “working hard” to try to fix the problem disables letters and packages departing from great Britain against foreigners through the company, however, has not specified for The Telegraph newspaper when it is expected to restart the service.
Said means of communication indicated that the problem was caused by an attack from a group called Lockbit using malicious programs that encodes the data computer and demands a ransom to avoid possible damages.
The Telegraph quotes a message written by a Lockbit member in a chatting in which he assured that the group “benefitted from the West’s hostile attitude (towards Russia)”, because it “allowed them to carry on this aggressive business and operate freely within the borders of the former Soviet countries”.
