Customer Reportedly Spitting and Threatening McDonald’s Employee in NH with Ax – NECN

A customer reportedly spat at an employee at a McDonald’s drive-thru in New Hampshire and then returned hours later, threatening several employees with axes, police said.

Manchester Police said they were responding to a report at around 10pm Sunday of a man causing trouble in the drive-through window at a McDonald’s at 907 Hanover St. The store manager informed police that a man approached the self-service and started arguing with him. an employee. The clerk refused to serve the man, and the man spat on him. The man then left the area.

About three and a half hours later, police were called to the same McDonald’s on reports of threats.

When they arrived, officers said they found four people outside who said the same people had returned to the restaurant at around 1am. He allegedly went to the drive-through window and was told by an employee that they were closed. The man reportedly drove around the building and when employees came out about 15 minutes later, he got out of his vehicle and threatened them with an ax before leaving the area.

Police said they saw the man’s car moments later and arrested the driver without incident. Police identified him as Webster’s Eric Mayville. Age not given. He was charged with criminal threats and simple assault. Police did not release details about bail or when Mayville will appear in court.
