Alien revealed in British “Maskorama”

The “Maskorama” fever is raging again in the UK, where a second season is now on screen. On December 26, “The Masked Singer” as the program was called in the UK and the US, premiered, and the first participants were revealed.

Both the judges and the audience were a little surprised to see who was hiding behind the alien costume.

– I do not understand that! Judge Mo Gilligan shouted as the mask fell.

– Wow!

The second season of British “The Masked Singer” is well underway, and the judging panel includes Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and newcomer Mo Gilligan.

The aliens performed “Don’t start now” by Dua Lipa and were the first participants to reveal their identities. He shocked the entire audience.

Behind the mask is British singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, 41, who surprised many.

– Wow! cried Rita Ora.

– This is amazing! Shouts host Joel Dommet as the singer takes off his alien costume.

“You ruined my mascot dream,” Bextor joked after the reveal.

The 41-year-old hasn’t even told her kids that she’ll be participating in season two.

– Your kids will love this, said Davina McCall and Jonathan Ross asked if she had told them she was with him.

– No, they don’t know, Bextor replied.

Disappointed fans

Many were surprised that Bextor was hiding behind a mask. Therefore, the fans were disappointed that he had to leave the competition so soon.

– Doesn’t sound like Sophie Ellis-Bextor! He’s amazing, wrote one viewer on twitter.

Bextor is a songwriter, model and artist and for the past year she has been entertaining fans by dancing in the kitchen or “Kitchen Disco” as she calls it. He shared a video on Instagram of him and the kids dancing to pop songs in the kitchen, in their house.

He has also released the album “Kitchen disco”, with some of his most famous songs. These include «Murder on the Dancefloor» and «Crying at the Discotheque».

Aliens have now been revealed and then seahorses, sausages, dragons, Vikings, blubs, Harlequins and geese remain.
