Oscar winner Glenda Jackson has passed away

Actress Glenda Jackson died on Thursday morning after a brief illness, Reuters reports. He lived to be 87 years old.
Jackson has had a long career as an actor, and has played leading roles in a number of award-winning films.
Jackson has won two Oscars of all time. Both times she won the award for “Best Actress in a Leading Role” – first in 1971 for the film “Women in Love”, and then in 1974 for the film “A Touch of Class”, according to IMDb.
Jackson has also won two Emmy Awards.
– Glenda Jackson, two-time Academy Award winner and former politician, died peacefully at her home in Blackheat, London this morning, her agent Lionel Larner said, according to Glass.
Jackson had his family around him when he died, the agent said.
Last year, Jackson shot the film “The Great Escaper”, in which he and actor Michael Caine were listed as the main roles. The film will hit the big screen in 2023.
Apart from acting, Jackson has been politically active for a number of years, but retired from politics in 2015 to further his acting career.
