Korean-American singer-songwriter Eric Nam will return to our country next year. With her “House on a Hill” world tour, she will travel to Europe and stop in Old Belgium in Brussels.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 28 June 2023, “House on a Hill”, Eric Nam’s new album, will be released. The album will also feature the singer’s recently announced world tour. The tour will kick off in North America and then travel to South America, Europe, Oceania and Asia.

Even though Eric Nam sometimes sings pop songs in Korean, you can’t really call him a K-pop star. He was born in the US and was discovered after his cover went viral YouTube. Nam was then invited by the South Korean channel MBC to participate in a talent show Star Audition: The Birth of a Great Star 2 in 2012. He entered the top 5 there, but got a contract with agency B2M Entertainment. His first solo album was released a few months later. So Nam never had the K-pop training that is so characteristic of the genre.

Still, he’s a familiar name to many K-pop fans. This is mainly because he is the co-founder of DIVE Studios, a company that makes several podcasts around K-pop and AAPI (Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders). Apart from that, he is also involved in Mindset, a Gen Z focused mental health and wellness platform.

Houses in the Hills World Tour

Starting in September, Eric Nam will be going on a world tour. He will travel to all five continents. The tour started with 39 stops in North America. Eric Nam then traveled to five countries in South America, before going to Europe.

In Europe, it will be broadcast in 13 different countries. The European branch started with three concerts in Scandinavia. This applies to Oslo in Norway on Thursday 29 February 2024, Stockholm in Sweden on Saturday 2 March 2024 and Copenhagen in Denmark on Sunday 3 March 2024. Then it is Germany’s turn. Eric Nam will be in Frankfurt on Tuesday 5 March, in Berlin on Wednesday 6 March and in Munich on Friday 8 March. march. He then travels to the Czech Republic (Prague, Saturday 9 March), Italy (Milan, Monday 11 March) and Switzerland (Zurich, Tuesday 12 March). Wednesday March 13th is Belgium’s turn. After his performance at La Madeleine last year, we will now see him in the great Old Belgium. The European tour will be complemented by concerts in France (Paris, Friday 15 March), others in Germany (Kologne, Monday 18 March), Netherlands (Amsterdam, Tuesday 19 March and Wednesday 20 March), United Kingdom (Glasgow on Sunday). 24 March and London Tuesday 26 March) and Ireland (Dublin Monday 25 March).

Immediately after the European leg, Eric Nam will perform four nights in Australia and New Zealand. This tour will also visit Asia, but the exact city and date are unknown.
