Caroline Wozniacki makes a tennis comeback – Thinks she can win the US Open
Danish favorite Caroline Wozniacki (32) has more to say Fashion articles that she would continue her active career.
It comes three and a half years after Wozniacki played her final match at the Australian Open in 2020.
Since then, Wozniacki has had two children, but now she is ready to play tennis again.
– I’ll play the US Open. There’s an electric atmosphere in New York that I just can’t get enough of…I’ll start in Montreal to get back into action and then we’ll go to New York. After that I have a few months to prepare for Australia and then we will take it from there. The Olympics in Paris is definitely a destination too, Wozniacki said in a Vogue article.
He continued:
– Am I nervous? Not too. I’m back to something I love. Yes, I will be nervous before the game, and that’s okay. Can I win the US Open? I think so. Can I win the Australian Open? I think so. That’s why I do this. And then I guess we’ll see what happens.
Wozniacki was world number one for a long time without winning a Grand Slam title. The first – and so far only – came at the Australian Open in 2018.
