The Institute for Aging and Social Services (Imserso) travel has the main destinations of the beaches and islands of Spain, in addition to the Thermalism program, to these traditional destinations, in the existing new season open until July 25th “Holiday tourism” was included as a novelty with cultural circuits and nature routes.
In total, the Imserso Tourism Program offers 886,269 places for destinations of between four and ten days duration, full board, except for trips to provincial capitals, which will be half board. Who can travel and with whom?
They can participate in the Tourism Program residents in Spain retirees, widows aged 55 and over and for other reasons; recipients of unemployment benefits or subsidies aged 60 years or over, and the insured of the Social Security System since the age of 65 years.
So are they Spaniards living abroad who meet certain requirements and Spaniards of emigrant origin who have returned to Spain, provided that they are retirees from the public social security system of the country or country to which they have emigrated.
User can go toaccompanied by their spouse, by their customary law partner or by a person with whom they have a stable bond and analogous cohabitation with husband and wife. In addition, children with disabilities (45%) or older may travel with them and must stay in the same room or pay additional fees in separate rooms if available. People who use parking lots and their companions, except for their children, have to fend for themselves to carry out basic activities of daily life, explained Imserso.
How was it requested and in what case?
Application must delivered primarily by electronic means. To submit an application on paper, you can download the application on the website of the institute for the elderly and send it to the electronic records and office included in article 7 Order SCB/926/2018, dated 10 September, or send it in a stamped envelope to post box number 10.140 , 28080 in Madrid.
Applications from residents of Germany, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland, can be processed at Ministry of Labor, Migration and Social Security concerned.
Application submission deadline started on June 29, 2023 and will end on July 25. People who were accredited to travel in previous seasons do not need to fill out a new application, only if they wish to change any information they must present it by 25 July.
