PwC announced a strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services to deliver $800 million in value to its customers

Madrid, 7 September 2023. PwC today announced it signed a three-year global strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate innovation, improve operational efficiency, and drive business transformation. The aim of this agreement is to leverage PwC’s know-how in using cloud technologies to grow the business, drive the development of technology solutions and generate trust, in line with the company’s global strategy, New Equation.

This collaboration will enable PwC and AWS to deliver approximately $800 million in value to their customers. This agreement will combine PwC’s sector knowledge and strategic, operational and business transformation capabilities with a broad range of cloud services from Amazon Web Services in a cloud that has a secure, reliable and scalable infrastructure. This collaboration will enhance PwC’s service offerings in areas such as cloud migration, data analytics, cybersecurity, risk management, customer experience and climate change reporting, as well as the transition to a zero-emissions economy.

PwC has been one of the first organizations to access and take advantage of it Amazon Bedrock -AWS Generative AI Platform for enterprise- to help customers transform their business. An aspect that is more important than ever in today’s business context, as revealed by PwC Annual Global CEO Surveynearly 40% of the world’s top executives believe that their companies will not be financially viable in a decade if they continue on their current path.

One of the focus areas of the agreement is Real-time monitoring and detection tools for complex cybersecurity attacks. According to the PwC Global CEO Survey, 48% of presidents and CEOs worldwide intend to increase investments in cybersecurity and data privacy in the next 12 months.
