Choreographer Samantha Jo “Mandy” Moore is well known dance with the stars fan. His work has been featured in the opening numbers of the ABC competition series. But in recent seasons, the dances performed at the top of the show are choreographed by professionals from the competition series.

Outside dance with the stars, Moore’s work appears in So you think you can dance Seasons 3 through 15. The 2017 Emmy Award-winning and seven-time Emmy-nominated choreographer has also worked on versions of the show for the UK, Canada, Ukraine, and the Netherlands.
Moore’s choreography is also in the 2012 film. Manual with silver lines and movies 2016 Earth starring Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. His work has also appeared at events such as:

Live tour ‘Dancing with the Stars’ choreographed by Mandy Moore
According to IMDb Moore, he last worked with dance with the stars in 2017. But now, Moore is reuniting with his former colleagues to choreograph his performances for the 2022 live tour.

Fans on Reddit are thrilled with Moore working with him dance with the stars partner again. “What a talented choreographer!” wrote one Reddit user. “I miss your job at ETAP.”
It’s not clear why Moore doesn’t work at dance with the stars never more. But chances are he has left to pursue other projects. In 2020, Moore began working on the NBC series. Zoey’s Amazing Playlist.
Today, Moore continues to work on Zoey’s Amazing Playlist. The series follows Zoey (Jane Levy), who discovers that she has the power to hear people’s thoughts through “heart songs”, which are often translated into big group music.
“Like any great musical, when you can’t say it, you sing, and when you can’t sing, you dance,” Moore told Deadline in August 2021. “I love that. by zoey is first and foremost music at its heart. So there are very few or very few instances where the dance is just performative because you use each of these songs to push the story forward in emotion and narrative.”
For Moore, working on a script series was very different from her job at dance with the stars you So you think you can dance. “In something like So what do you think?, I came up with the song, the concept, the costumes, the lighting, I’m talking about the shots, it’s very dance-driven,” he explained to Awards Radar.
“dance with the stars obviously it’s about scale and epic moments and sexy men and women and their sequined outfits. It’s a very different mindset from scripts because you really have the groove they give you when they give you the script and it’s all about presenting the story.”
