This Tuesday, the President of the Republic, Pedro Castillo Terrones, received at the Government Palace three new ambassadors from the countries of the Republic of El Salvador, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of Mexico.
The visit was motivated by the sending of credentials of the new ambassadors in Peru. During the ceremony, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, César Landa, was also present.

The handover of the credential letters began with the Ambassador of the Republic of El Salvador, Pablo Caballero Pineda, who conveyed greetings to the head of state Pedro Castillo, greetings from his country’s president, Nayib Bukele, and the people of El Salvador.
Then it was the turn of the ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Gavin Douglas Cook. “I bring greetings from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and wishes of prosperity to the Peruvian people and the strengthening of the bonds of friendship between our countries,” he said.
The United States Ambassador to Mexico, Pablo Monroy Conesa, continued, expressing to the president of Peru the affectionate greetings of the president of his country, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, and the people of Mexico.
