The young man will be linked to a group of hackers known as Lapsus$, who organized the attack via Telegram. This week, several reports indicated that he was seen as one of the group leaders and the main person responsible for the GTA 6 leak.

Hackers will try to negotiate with Rockstar

In addition to doing all the leaks of the next game in the franchise, hackers will try to negotiate with Rockstar not to reveal the new files. Computer journalist Tom Henderson claims that their goal is to receive money so that the information will not be published.

The person responsible for the leak got not only the GTA 6 code, but also the current version of the game. Instead, he asks for money not to expose the files and will accept an offer of 5 bitcoins, which equates to around USD 93,200 at current prices.
