Amazon announced the expansion of its Amazon-built television line, spanning three sizes across the Fire TV Omni QLED Series, with the Fondo Ambiental experience, and the Fire TV Series 2 with prices starting at $199.99.
Amazon is also launching Amazon-made TVs in more countries, bringing the new Omni QLED Series, Fire TV Series 4, and Fire TV Series 2 to the UK, Germany, and Mexico for the first time.
The Fire TV Omni QLED Series starts at $449.99, a new size that brings the Fondo Ambiental experience to any space, in any home.
The Fire TV Omni QLED Series shares the Fondo Ambiental experience and is available in three new sizes: 43”, 50”, and 55”.
The Omni QLED features a 4K Quantum Dot Technology (QLED) display with full-array local dimming for up to 96 zones, plus support for Dolby Vision IQ and adaptive HDR10+, for an immersive cinematic experience.
This line also features far-field technology built in, letting you discover apps, find shows, manage playback, and control Ambient Background with hands-free Alexa control from anywhere in the room.
Echo Car
At the same time, Amazon Devices is presenting the new Echo Auto in Mexico, which allows Alexa to be taken anywhere, including vehicles.
Through these devices, Alexa can be asked to play music, set reminders, set calendars, make calls, turn on the lights in the garage (compatible and configurable with Alexa) and ask for directions.
“This is a device designed specifically for the car, from the compact form we have included that allows you to place it on the dashboard or even on some car grilles to put it in front of you. The way it works can be via Bluetooth or through an additional cable you connect to the sound of the car as well and at the same time you connect it to your cellphone so you can surf the internet, it has five microphones which are specially calibrated to be able to reduce most of the background noise that we found, “said Carlos Pérez, general manager Alexa en Español.
