Apollo G2J: a conceptual electric sports car that advances future model technology – News – Hybrids & Electrics

Many will recognize Apollo as a truly spectacular hypercar brand, like the Intensa Emozione or Project Evo, both with V12 engines. However, now is the time to move towards electric mobility for the exclusive company. For this reason, in the last hours they had presented a new electric concept model that will advance the design lines and technological advancements that future commercial vehicles will have; that is, it will be a sedan and an SUV, of course, both electric.

In particular, the headlights are vertical in design, the lines are softened and there are no edges and corners, or the aerodynamic openings spread throughout the vehicle. The interior of the electric Apollo G2J is truly minimalist, as performance, sensation and light weight have dominated its information and entertainment technology. This model inserts a single screen on the dashboard and is the one associated with the instrumentation function, although it also has two additional panels that serve only as mirrors. The interior, like the whole vehicle, is made of carbon fiber, although some areas are covered in leather and Alcantara. The two-seater model combines a very sporty and ergonomic seat.

According to data provided by sports brands, The G2J is made entirely of carbon fiber and other “more advanced lightweight composite materials”. Its carbon fiber platform will soon be used in sporty, performance-focused electric vehicles. Currently, from Apollo they have not provided specific data on the electrical mechanics of G2J, although it is known that will use 800 volt architecture.

Apollo currently has a network of dedicated hubs run by three locations; The first, and most important to them, are those located in the UK, although they also have other locations in the United States, Germany, and Japan. Apollo G2J has been developed under the guidance of the European Development Centerlocated in Ingolstadt, Germany.
