The city of Buenos Aires is the most popular destination for digital nomads in South America by a significant margin: 8.3% more than Rio de Janeiro, which ranks second.
Digital nomads are people who have the ability to work remotely from anywhere in the world, so they usually do it while traveling or staying in a different country for a period of time. This modality experienced a boom after the pandemic, with the head office exploding. They can be self-managed workers, freelancers or employees in dependent relationships.
The ranking compiled by resume builder site Resume.io is based on an analysis of thousands of Instagram posts with the hashtag #digitalnomad, pre-processed to ensure no spam accounts or bots are included. How to become a digital nomad in Argentina?
In Argentina there is Procedure for registering as a digital nomad. It redirects to foreign residents of countries that do not require a tourist visa to enter the National Territory, for the purpose of providing services remotely through the use of computers, telecommunications or similar means, for the benefit of individuals or legal entities domiciled abroad.

Digital nomads and their goals
