SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM IN SPANISH
For this second semester, the main scholarship program promoted by financial institutions in Spain – which in 2021 will award 30,000 scholarships and grants for entrepreneurship in the country – is the Santander Estudios Scholarship | Progress and Santander Erasmus.
The former, endowed with 1,000 euros each, intends to assist undergraduate or masters students with good academic records at their expense to facilitate their access to higher education and their application period is extended to 11 November; the second, European mobility, will be offered from November and annually recognizes the academic excellence of Erasmus+ students, in addition to promoting inclusion and equal opportunities to access international learning experiences.
The general aim of all Santander Scholarship programs, both in Spain and in other countries where the bank is present, is to promote lifelong learning, through initiatives that are open to all profiles and ages and focused on increasing employment opportunities through strengthening professional skills ( Upskilling) or professional recycling (Reskilling).
For Santander University’s global deputy director, Blanca Sagastume, “our scholarship programs and initiatives reinforce our commitment to continuous learning, or Life Learning, prioritizing excellence and equal opportunity”. “And we always cooperate with big international prestigious universities and educational institutions, who contribute all their experience and knowledge”, he added.
