Bestinver has appointed Fernando Gil de Santivanes as the new director of analysis at Bestinver Securities, a position he will combine with his work as an analyst specializing in the financial sector. Gil de Santivañes joined Bestinver from Barclays, where he became director of analysis for the Spanish banking sector in London (UK).

At Bestinver Securities, Gil de Santivañes will lead a team of eight analysts specializing in more than 90 companies. In addition, he will bring more than two decades of experience as a financial manager and analyst to his coverage of banks, insurance companies, and other financial services companies. Their analysis will be distributed among managers and other investment firms that hire their services.

A few days earlier, the manager announced the signing Luis Golderos as a new technology, telecommunications and media (TMT) analyst. In this case, not for Bestinver Securities, but for the manager’s internal analysis. Golderos joins Bestinver after four years as manager of Renta 4 as the analyst responsible for TMT.
