Caracas.- The British Embassy in Venezuela activated the condolence book on September 9 after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, so citizens can send messages of their solidarity.
“The book of condolences will be open until 1pm this Friday at the embassy headquarters in Caracas… While in the UK immediately after the funeral, the royal family will extend seven days of mourning, hopefully later in all of these periods. the proclamation of a new king, which has been executed, but a solemn act may take place next year in the summer, perhaps, there is no official date yet,” the British Charge d’Affaires in Venezuela told El Universal Becks Buckingham.
The British diplomatic corps in Caracas will not work on Monday, September 19, as it is declared a holiday in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, as that is the date the king’s funeral will take place.
