British Parliament recognizes Tania Medina

Dominican plastic surgeon accepts ‘Star of Orion Award’an award endorsed by the United Nations, and conferred on manor house at dinner in honor of dignitaries from Dubai, Mexico, Cannes and England.

Tania Medina has just made the name of the Dominican Republic, in London. The British Parliament has honored him with the ‘Orion Star Award’, an award endorsed by the United Nations. Happy with such a difference, the plastic surgeon said:

“First I want to thank you for this recognition, and second, I want you to know that for me, spreading a new way of practicing plastic surgery makes me satisfied. We need to appreciate our inner self more, understand our soul, and then think about any physical changes in the body to increase self-esteem.”

During the awards ceremony held at the House of Lords in the British Parliament, London, the specialist announced the pre-sale of his first book ‘The Beauty of Loving Me’, in English. The Orion Foundation presented the ‘Orion Star Award’ to Medina, over a dinner honoring dignitaries from Dubai, Mexico, Cannes and the UK.

It is important to remember that the plastic surgeon was recently voted by People en Español as one of the 25 most influential women in the United States. This is because his work is related to women’s empowerment.

The Orion Star Awards were created in 2017 for recognize people who go beyond boundaries, develop and achieve personal and professional success as an expatriate, being an example and inspiration for future generations.

“To earn this award, which is recognized by the United Nations, one’s work must transcend multiple subjects or disciplines in categories ranging from philanthropy, art, technology, business and politics,” said Iris Rodríguez, president of the Orion Foundation.

She highlighted that Tania Medina has been a self-love leader in Hispanic communities in the United States, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, and is a champion of awareness campaigns on breast cancer prevention and the GRACIAthon, a gratitude marathon.
