3D Digital Places is raising capital to grow internationally. Mobile Media Content, specialized in technology to enhance operations ticket sales, has raised 2.5 million euros in a financing round led by Caixa Capital Risc, which was already entered as a partner in 2014. The Ministry of Science and Innovation has also participated in the competition; Spodeal, a new project by Sandro Rosell and several former Barça players who have investment funds, and existing investors such as Limorent.
The company, which is based in Barcelona and employs 49 people, will allocate resources to increase its international expansion into new markets and broaden its service portfolio. The company currently derives 50% of its sales in the United States, with Spain, the United Kingdom and Italy the other most relevant markets.
