CAM strengthens ties with UK to drive digital transformation of public services

In the context of the meeting, López-Valverde highlighted need to “strengthen relations with international leaders in the sector who have shown interest in regional innovation models, and to whom we can export our ideas while importing some of their solutions”. He also highlighted the importance of government coordination to advance policies that help cities and their residents adapt to progress.

During the visit, López-Valverde and Blackwell have shared their policies for Government modernization, as well as key success stories that have been implemented.. Among the initiatives that caught the attention of the British representative are the Cyber ​​Security Agency, the Virtual Health Card, the Digital Account and the regional Technological Employment Plan. These and other projects allow the region to climb the rankings in Europe and the world.
