Queen Elizabeth’s doctors are concerned about the 96-year-old woman’s health, Buckingham Palace wrote in a statement.

– After a new assessment was carried out this morning, the Queen’s doctor was concerned about Her Majesty’s health. They therefore recommended that he remain under medical supervision, the statement said.

The Queen will be “comfortable” at her residence in Balmoral, Scotland.

70 years on the throne

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla are already there, according to reports Telegraph. All of the Queen’s children will visit him now.

Prince William, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan will also head to the castle in Scotland, the same newspaper reports.

– Very worried

On Twitter, Britain’s newly appointed Prime Minister, Liz Truss, has expressed support for the 96-year-old monarch.

– The whole country is very worried after hearing the news from Buckingham Palace, newly appointed British Prime Minister Liz Truss wrote on Twitter.





Debate over Truss’s energy plans was cut short in the House of Commons when the news became known.

“I know I speak for the entire Parliament when I say that we send our best wishes to Her Majesty, The Queen, and that she and the Royal Family are in our thoughts and prayers at this time,” said Speaker of Parliament Ian Blackford.







The Queen also received congratulations from Leader of the Opposition Keir Starmer, as well as First Minister of Scotland Nikola Sturgeon. Buckingham Palace’s website crashed after the news broke.

Yesterday, Reuters news site reported that the Queen canceled a meeting with ministers, after being advised to rest by her doctor.
