The government allows Foreign Minister Ana Gervasi to travel on assignment to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland; Federal Republic of Germany; Vatican City; and to the Italian Republic.
This step was formalized through Highest Resolution No. 150-2023-PCM published in the Legal Standards bulletin in the State Gazette El Peruano.
Based on this device, the chancellor’s trips to the cities of London (England), Stuttgart and Berlin (Germany), Vatican City (Holy See), and the city of Rome (Italy) are allowed from 8 to 15 October 2023.
In this case, the Minister of Production, Ana María Choquehuanca, is in charge of the Foreign Relations Office.
In England, where he will be on 10 and 11 October, he has scheduled meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs; with the President of the British Parliament’s “Parliamentary Group of All Political Parties in Peru”; as well as a dissertation on “Strategic Investment Opportunities in Peru”.
Likewise, he will hold meetings with officials from the Chatham House study center and the London School of Economics and will participate in commemorative activities to be held on the occasion of 200 years of Peruvian-British diplomatic relations.
Later, on October 12 to 13, he will be in Germany to give a presentation in the opening segment of the event entitled “Latin America Day”, organized by the Business Association for Latin America (LAV) and will accompany the President of the Republic Dina Boluarte for his participation as guest of honor at the above event.
Next he will leave for the city of Berlin, accompanying the President who will have an audience with the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank Walter Steinmeier.
Meanwhile, on October 14, he will accompany the Head of State to Vatican City, the Holy See, where he will make an official visit, through a personal meeting with His Holiness Pope Francis and a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs; and then, in Rome (Italy), held a meeting with the director general of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
