Reiten and Chelsea secured a group win in the Champions League

Guro Reiten was involved in the goal of the match as Chelsea beat Paris Saint-Germain 3-0 at Stamford Bridge to top their group in the Champions League.

Both teams are already through to the quarter-finals, but with a win of two goals or better, PSG will join Arsenal, Barcelona and Wolfsburg as group winners and seeded in the quarter-final draw in February.

The French club started well, and Kadidiatou Diani caused several problems for the Chelsea defense and goalkeeper Zecira Musovic.

In the 14th minute, the PSG striker fired in from almost 40 meters and Musovic barely got back in time to slam the ball over the crossbar.

Instead, it was Chelsea who led. Minutes before the break, Sakina Karchaoui missed when she was about to clear, and Sam Kerr had a chance to challenge. The defense backed down, and the Australian star striker clipped the ball over the crossbar from 20 meters.

Lauren James doubled the lead ten minutes into the second half after goalkeeper Sarah Bouhaddi made a mistake during kick-off. After interacting with Fran Kirby and Kerr, James shot on goal.

Seven minutes later, Reiten played beautifully to Kirby, who also crossed the ball diagonally to James. He was the scorer of two goals against the visitors who lost, which was checkmate.

Soon after, Reiten, Kerr and Erin Cuthbert were replaced. The job is done, and the stars can rest in the stands.
