A wild bison is born in England after 6,000 years, because a similar event occurred. Natural moment observed by Tom Gibbs, a bison keeper at Kent Wildlife Trust, a conservation charity based in the UK.

“It was a magical and iconic moment for what it represents for conservation and wildlife in this country,” Gibbs said. The ranger remained in place for two hours, “only observing the calf and its mother.”and commented: “I saw this little face coming out from behind mother.”

Bison mow grass with their mouths, their large bodies creating trails through dense forests and their nutrition. The wildlife restoration project is the first of its kind in the UK, although work is ongoing similar initiative in other parts of Europe and North America.
