Baig’s seven years at Amazon have given him a deep understanding of the global logistics landscape. He has significantly shaped the compliance space, starting as country director in MENA and then as COO in EMEA.

His role includes driving security and performance, spearheading business improvement strategies, and overseeing transformation projects in the EMEA and MENA regions. This, combined with OPLOG’s vision, places the company on a promising path forward. In addition to overseeing OPLOG’s extensive compliance capabilities, Baig will play a key role in refining processes at each facility to ensure optimal efficiency. His leadership will focus on performance metrics, refine strategies for fast and accurate delivery, and continually improve the end customer experience.

Under Baig’s able leadership at Amazon, he achieved significant milestones. Specifically, it reduced operating costs by 12% for Amazon’s transportation operations in 2018 the middle East. His keen strategic understanding was also demonstrated when he successfully launched six new delivery stations for Amazon Logistics.

In 2023, OPLOG begins a year of global expansion with the opening of two new distribution centers in the United States and the United Kingdom, and plans to open another distribution center in Germany by the end of the year.
