Most radio listeners in Spain listen to it the traditional way, but those who do so via the Internet enjoy several advantages over the first group. Among them, have access to any radio station on the planet and can use tools like Radio Park. This is a “google maps” which allows you to listen to stations broadcasting their program over the Internet by searching for them on an interactive map.
This is a project originally developed by Dutch Institute of Sound and Vision which is torn 2016 with the collaboration of six universities from Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and England. Under an interface like Google Maps, users can travel around the world with their mouse and choose one of the more than 9,000 green icons that indicate the location of each radio station. Simply clicking on it will start playback.
Radio Garden was born as a non-profit service that became an independent company run by Jonathan Puckywho designed it in conjunction with Moniker studio, in 2019. It now has hidden ads, but its usage is haphazard and has expanded functionality since then. Allows you to search for stations by name and navigate through a specific theme. It also released an app for iOS And Androids and redesigned in 2020 to better adapt the web user experience to the mobile format.
Currently managed by a team of three and continuing recognizes new radio stations proposed by the user through its interface. You can access Radio Garden by clicking here link.
