Hunt met with entrepreneurs in Davos to highlight the potential of British technology

London, 18 Jan (EFE).- The British Minister for the Economy, Jeremy Hunt, met this Thursday at the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland) with entrepreneurs from around the world to highlight the potential of British science and technology, his country’s ministry reported.

At the annual meeting in Davos, Hunt will highlight his optimism about UK economic growth and productivity despite global uncertainty, in his first visit to the forum since 2019, when he was Foreign Secretary.

“I will be in Davos to tell the world that the UK, a highly innovative country, is on the rise and open to business. We have some of the best and brightest companies in sectors such as digital technology and life sciences,” the Minister said. said in a statement released by his portfolio.
