Isabelle Blog-Azoulay, new EVP, International Sales and IP Acquisition Acun Medya

In his new position, the executive will increase the scope of the group’s format, and will seek written and unwritten formats for the various markets in which the group is located.

Isabelle Blog-Azoulay, previously an executive at John de Mol’s Talpa Global and ITV Studios, will lead IP acquisition and distribution operations at Istanbul-based Acun Medya Global.

Azoulay, who will remain in the Netherlands, will serve as EVP Global Sales & IP Acquisitions with the dual purpose of further developing the Acun Medya Global format footprint, as well as sourcing scripted and unscripted formats for various markets. present: Turkey, Greece, CEE, Mexico and United States Hispanics.

In his new role, Azoulay will oversee distribution strategy and activities at Acun Medya Global and its worldwide subsidiaries alongside group veteran Mirka Savic, Director of Global Acquisitions and Production, and will report to Group CEO Ebru Atasav.

His international distribution experience spans companies such as ITV Studios (UK), Propagate Content (US), TF1 (France), Robin&Co (France) and Talpa Global (Netherlands), where he is responsible for global licensing powerhouses such as The Voice (Talpa/ ITV), Love Island (ITV), Next Level Chef (Fox), Come Dine With Me (ITV) and well-known script series Kaamelott (Robin&Co) and Camera Café (Robin&Co). Most recently, he served as the Executive Director of Format at Los Angeles-based Content Propagate.
