The Reemujer Program or assistance project for Economic Recovery and Empowerment of Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, which was run by the Taiwan Technical Mission, in its first year benefited 550 companies in component 1 with an initial capital of US$ 987,840, reaching 16 departments across the country.
This is shown by the program manager who is recalculating the entire scope for 2022, bidding farewell with big actions for the women entrepreneur segment that is considered in this program because it is considered a fundamental part of the country’s economic recovery.
However, because the Technical Mission assistance is comprehensive, as it does not only provide start-up capital and hand it over to entrepreneurs, this project also has component 2, namely vocational training, which involves 300 women from 17 national regional departments benefiting from funds to support entrepreneurs.
