At 15.00, tomorrow, Sunday, July 9, the second edition of the fernet artisan workshop is scheduled, where those who love this drink will be able to enjoy step-by-step demonstrations, tasting the different preparations, and a dessert feast to share. It will be in the Creative City, specifically in the Cogliolo Arte gallery, which is located at the corner of Mariscal López 1114 Rodríguez de Francia.

This activity was guided by Julia Pineda. He is a biologist, plant lover, with 9 years experience in the production and conservation of medicinal plants, as part of the Arigua Granja Agroecológica activities. Out of his desire to share the knowledge he had acquired, this series of workshops called “Wild Potions” was born, with fernet as a start.

After the workshop and step-by-step demonstration of the manufacture of fernet and amaros, it is hoped that at 17.00 the participants will be able to enjoy tasting the drinks made by those who took part in the first workshop and comparisons between tastes will be carried out. Students from previous meetings are invited to bring their preparations for the tasting.

The event will close with a party where there will be food prepared by Hei Matau, live music with local singer-songwriter Sam Romero, Sound Connector will select songs as dj and of course there will be toast with fernet.

The places for workshops for fernet craftsmen are limited and registration must be done in advance considering that participants will have materials to mix and test in groups. Interested parties must register https://forms.gle/dTpHxDctsKfd5FyX8 and pay by transfer to secure the quota.

Coinciding with the “Art in Areguá” circuit, organized by ten local galleries, this activity is conducive to getting to know Cogliolo Arte and learning how to make your own drink at home. Further information at (0971) 909-399.
