In an effort to improve medical services in Peru, the British signed a contract with the Ministry of Health for the construction of two very complex hospitals in the cities of Piura and Trujillo. This the health center will surpass the one in Lima in terms of technology and will benefit more than 4 million Peruvians.

Hospitals will have state-of-the-art equipment and specialized medical personnel, allowing them to provide for these needs high quality patient service. The construction of this hospital is part of an agreement between the Peruvian and British governments to improve health infrastructure in the country.

Construction of a hospital in Trujillo

Investments in these projects aim to reduce healthcare disparities in different regions of Peru and ensure that all citizens have access to quality healthcare. These hospitals of the future will have them outpatient consultation, emergency department, surgery centerdiagnostic imaging, pharmacy and other services. It will also have about 600 beds, 386 of which will be referred to the inpatient area, and it is expected to acquire more than 7,600 pieces of equipment.

This project is an example collaboration between Peru and England to improve the quality of life of the Peruvian people and strengthen relations between the two countries.

Regarding this matter, Member of the Piura Congress, Maricruz Zeta, emphasized that now his mission is to supervise and monitor so that the Piura region has the best hospital in northern Peru.
