A girl has found a prehistoric bear tooth from 700,000 years ago on the coast of England
At first the little girl believed that it was a piece of wood that had become fossilized
A nine year old girl was walking on the beach with her family and came across a prehistoric bear tooth. As the protagonist told the British media BBC, at first, when he saw what he found, he thought it was a petrified piece of wood. When they took the fossil to an expert on this subject, he revealed the truth. It wasn’t a piece of wood, quite the opposite, it was the remains of an animal, specifically the bear’s ancestor of the brown bear.
This news that has delighted the scientific community is nothing out of the ordinary. The BBC in numerous entries made over the years has reported similar finds on British beaches. This is because soil erosion and tides excavate remains that were once under meters of earth. Now that these agents are exposed and it is possible to see them with the naked eye without digging into them.
In Spain the possession of these elements is prohibited. However, if someone finds a body of this type, they can contact the responsible authority to deliver it.
