Great Britain has secured places in the men’s and women’s 4x100m and 4x400m events at this summer’s Olympic Games in Paris; The 4x100m medley team will again have the opportunity to qualify for the World Athletics Relays in the Bahamas on Sunday.

Britain have qualified for four of the five relays at this summer’s Olympics following their results at the World Athletics Relays in the Bahamas.
The women’s 4x100m team won their heats on day one in Nassau, while the men’s 4x100m quartet plus the men’s and women’s 4x400m teams all finished second in their respective heats to secure a place in Paris.
The top two teams in each heat have qualified for the Olympic spots, with the final in the Bahamas on Sunday offering prize money and prominence on the Olympic circuit.
The British mixed 4x400m team finished third behind surprise winners Ireland, but will have another chance to qualify on Sunday evening.
Britain is among 14 men’s and women’s teams to book places in Paris, while the United States and Olympic hosts France also qualified with four teams.
Canada, Italy and Poland each qualified for three countries.
